The biennial event, held this year from 9 to 12 January, serves as an important forum for the exchange of ideas and brainstorming for the automotive industry.
Whilst focusing on recent advances in areas such as automotive safety, emissions, engines, noise, alternative fuels, electronics, structural evaluation, vehicle engineering and materials, 2013’s show also concentrated on a variety technologies for safer, cleaner and quieter vehicles. Innovative advancements in automotive technologies were also on show during the four day event, each of which had been individually designed to meet future industry challenges.
Attended by the Indian Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Praful Patel, SIAT 2013 provided a platform for MIRA-Caepro’s industry experts to share thoughts and innovative ideas with other members of the international automotive industry. The event was also an opportunity for MIRA-Caepro representatives to explore potential new business opportunities and to further boost the promising joint-venture’s continually expanding presence in India.
