Employment FAQs.

What is HORIBA MIRA's Data Protection Policy?

We may use and keep information about you, provided by you or by third parties such as referees, relating to your interest in future employment with us. This will be for recruitment use only. Any enquiry, or request for destruction of the information, should be addressed to the Personnel Manager.

What is HORIBA MIRA's Equal Opportunities Policy?

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from suitably qualified people regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.

How long will it take to process my application?

Once you have submitted your application we aim to send an acknowledgement letter within seven days. Your CV will then be passed on to the relevant Department Manager for consideration and we aim to inform you whether you will be invited for interview within two weeks.

How does my company become an approved recruitment/contract staff supplier?

We already use a small number of approved recruitment and contract staff suppliers, who we have been using for some time. We are not looking to increase the number of suppliers we have at the moment. Speculative CVs from unapproved suppliers will not be processed due to the large quantity that we receive on a daily basis.

Does HORIBA MIRA offer work experience placements?

We welcome work experience applications. Please contact us detailing the dates and duration of the placement you are looking for. Please also include the area of the business you are interested in working in. We only have a limited number of spaces available and these are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
