Case Study Overview

MOXION were developing a mobile power unit based on an EV style battery plus inverter capable of delivering flexible “mains” AC electrical supplies. Primary uses include construction sites, micro-grid supply, festival/event power, TV/film production sets and support during natural disasters/emergencies

Successes and Benefits

MIRA were asked to support the creation and review of IEC 61508 safety work products and process definitions. This included Work Products for scope definition, hazard and risk analysis, fault tree analysis, writing of safety requirements and validation planning.
