European Certification Services

HORIBA MIRA Spain is accredited through ENAC against ISO 17065, ISO 17021-1 and ISO 17020 for both EU Notified Body Services and Technical Services for Vehicle approvals.  This allows us to offer certification assessments for our clients across a multitude of subject areas supporting the placement of CE marking on their products to vehicle product, system and component approvals. 

We exist to:

• Fulfil the requirements for accreditation as a Notified Body and Technical Service
• Fulfil both our customers and accreditation expectations regarding independence and impartiality, confidentiality, and level of judgement
• Execute assignments within the time limits agreed and in a cost-effective way

Our Scope

Our scope as a EU Notified Body & Technical Service covers the following areas:

EU Notified body for:

• The Construction Products Regulation 2011, specifically EN1317 (Scheme Document)
• Outdoor Noise Directive 2000/14/EC – Annex VIII (Scheme Document)

HORIBA MIRA Spain also has a collaboration with a UK Approved Body, offering efficiencies in the assessment process and therefore streamlining the process for manufacturers who wish to affix a UKCA and a CE mark to their products, enabling them to be sold in the UK and EU.
