Case Study Overview

HVS, a CV startup based in the UK, needed help to develop the necessary quality processes to demonstrate compliance to UNECE R155 (CSMS) and R156 (SUMS).  They also recognised alignment with their corporate information security processes (ISMS) would make a more robust, holistic implementation.

Successes and Benefits

  • Detailed gap-analysis/”health-check” of existing electrical architecture and quality management systems against expectations of R155 and R156 gave quick and focused action plan to allow development activity to start that would allow sufficient demonstration of compliance ahead of Type Approval.
  • Use of specialist 3rd party IT security expert allowed ISMS to be considered which gave a full company-wide cybersecurity implementation.
  • Senior management review of action plan allowed quick commitment decision on implementation to proceed.
