Our combined environment facilities enable tests combining cyclic temperature, humidity, solar loading and shock/vibration to be run according to a customer’s exact requirements.
By combining these conditions, real-world environments and damage mechanisms can be reproduced in the laboratory.
A number of facilities are fitted with state of the art fire suppression systems and flexible interfaces designed to provide safe shutdown of equipment based on configurable trigger conditions. These systems facilitate the safe testing of equipment requiring immediate power down, for example, Lithium-Ion batteries and their management systems.
Important to many of our customers, we hold ISO 17025 accreditation for combined environment testing that covers the most commonly encountered test specifications including; Def Stan 00-35, MIL-STD 810, BS EN 60068 and RTCA DO-160.

All facilities have access ports to allow power feeds including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic etc.
The figures below represent the base facilities but we are always willing to work with our customers to provide smart solutions to their test problems. An example of this would be providing systems that mechanically actuate a part during the combined environment testing.
