EM Manager Technical Support for CTAI Programme

Case Study Overview

HORIBA MIRA supported CTAI in a number of test and consultancy areas, using our experience to anticipate trial hurdles, identify opportunities, and lead them with technical expertise to deliver class-leading support alongside the cannon production schedule. This helped to meet end customer contractual obligations in full.

Approach

Approach

CTAI are a company whom HORIBA MIRA have worked with over the last 10+ years in the field of Defence. We have conducted EMC and electrical trials within our class-leading test facilities in the UK and at their test and development premises in Bourges, France.

We have also provided direct technical assurance / governance through a consultancy support contract to their EM Manager since 2017. Through centralised delivery, we have delivered all EM and electrical trials required to successfully deliver CTAI’s contractual requirements to DE&S (MoD) for the cannons being installed within the AJAX armoured fighting vehicle fleet.
