Health & Safety Policy

HORIBA MIRA conducts its business in a socially responsible manner reflected in its approach to health, safety and the environment. We work as a passionate and knowledgeable team to positively influence and protect the welfare of all stakeholders including, employees, suppliers, customers and tenants.

Therefore it is the policy of HORIBA MIRA that we;

  • Behave positively and use effective measures that prevent harm to people and the environment, improving the health and wellbeing of staff at work where possible
  • Implement standardised approaches and work processes to ensure legal compliance and efficient business performance including risk management
  • Set and monitor health and safety and environmental targets and metrics annually that contribute to the ongoing continuous improvement of business performance, addressing shortfalls where they occur
  • Utilise compliance to international standards, OHSAS 18001 for Health and Safety and ISO 14001 as a means of demonstrating our commitment to the welfare and safety of our employees and to the benefit of our business to the environment
  • Ensure that accountability is identified and governance provided to appropriately prioritise health, safety and environmental aspects
  • Ensure suitable competent resource is available throughout the organisation and identified gaps are addressed through training and other means
  • Communicate and consult effectively health, safety and environmental factors within the organisation and where relevant with external interested parties

Quality Policy

It is the Policy of HORIBA MIRA, (hereafter known as MIRA), that we will meet all of our customers’ and other stakeholders needs by demonstrating good professional practice to deliver a high standard of quality in satisfying their precise requirements. By behaving in a way that clearly demonstrates the MIRA Values we promote a collaborative approach.

Therefore it is the policy of MIRA that we contribute positively to the brand of HORIBA and through its management systems and employees;

  • Continuously invest in our staff, equipment and processes in order to improve the quality management system and therefore the quality of our products and services
  • Consider and deliver against the needs of all stakeholders in our business
  • Provide an appropriate level of governance throughout the organisation whilst empowering our staff to attain and achieve
  • Utilise compliance to international standards as a means of demonstrating our commitment to quality, ISO 17025 for applicable testing and calibration and ISO 9001 for all other areas of the business
  • Use continuously improving documented standardised processes to deliver our products and services including project delivery (MIRA Project Management Process - MP2) and product delivery (Product Lifecycle Management - PLM)

Anti-Bribery Policy

As an organisation we are committed to conducting business free of bribery and corruption.  We believe that it is important that our business dealings are carried out fairly, professionally  and with integrity and as such we will not tolerate bribery or corruption.
